Baloo is an indie rock outfit and the musical creation of singer songwriter Henry Beasley (Vocals/Guitar), Charles Beasley (drums), Pierre Beasley (keys) and Guy Harrison (bass).
The four piece continuously pushes the boundaries of the popular music scene with their insatiable need for musical innovation which sees them blend styles together to create something entirely new. Elements of alternative rock meet hip hop beats and blues licks to allow a quirky yet collected style to consistently impress audiences and leave catchy melodies ringing in their ears.
With influence from Kings of Leon to Kanye West, Baloo prides itself in its ability to harmoniously blend such contrasting styles together.
Bringing indie rock from Christchurch, New Zealand, Nakey is Steven Marr (of DOPRAH)’s latest project. Nakey is also made up of Jonty OC (Pieces of Molly), Ryan Chin (Rickshaw, Doprah), Manny Fresh (Maximum Fledge) and Matthew Gunn (Doprah, Ipswich).
Grayson Gilmour has been channeling his existential musings into song since the early Y2Ks. He leads a threefold life as solo artist, film composer & So So Modern synth-dude, attempting to balance an introverted, extroverted, contemplative, hedonistic & ecstatic type of musical schizophrenia… or just his general over-enthusiasm.
Its been a steady evolution, starting at 16 with his first solo CD-Rs, to forming ‘So S0 Modern’ at 20, to scoring his first feature film at 26.
Gg’s latest album ‘Infinite Life!’ was released early 2014 on Flying Nun, he is currently performing both as a soloist and with a band, while also undertaking his Masters in Composition.

Anthonie Tonnon is a songwriter and performer based in Auckland, New Zealand. He performs solo and with a four piece band.
Previously he recorded/performed as either Tono or Tono & The Finance Company. Since the break-up of The Finance Company, Tonnon has extensively toured New Zealand, Australia and the USA as support act for international acts and as solo headliner.
Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, Cut Off Your Hands make catchy and melodic post-punk-influenced indie rock. Early on, the band changed its name from Shaky Hands to avoid confusion with a Portland, OR, ensemble of the same name.
Influences: “We all have different tastes in music. For example Dahnu really loves Frank Ocean and listens to it blasting around the flat. Suren loves Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs at the moment. Billy still loves Tool. We all have varied influences at one time. Fleetwood Mac has been pretty radical for us. Also the Cure, the Beatles and Joy Division. John Frusciante is my favourite guitarist in the whole world.” Daniel Kerr

Sherpa have headlined many memorable shows as well as supporting noteworthy acts including Opossom, The Checks, Goodshirt, The Clean, Darwin Deez and Real Estate as well performing at 2012’s Auckland Laneway Festival.
These four guys are an Alternative Pop group who all grew up in Mount Maunganui, started a band and moved up to Auckland, in the meantime playing shows with the likes of Cut Off Your Hands, Two Cartoons, Clap Clap Riot and Collapsing Cities, as well as holding a #1 single on bFM’s Top10.

Lightning on Me is the combined effort of Sean Patterson and Michael Cannon–previous members of The Earlybirds with Chris Hurn. Originally a solo artist in Wellington, Chris has brought a sophisticated drawing upon the influences of Destroyer, Phoenix, The Killers, New Order and Bruce Springsteen.
